   Wixom St. Catherine of Siena Academy eliminated Farmington United 4-1 in the Michigan High School Field Hockey Association Division 2 playoff game on Thursday, Oct. 22, at St. Catherine.

   Sixth-seeded St. Catherine advances to face third-seeded Detroit Country Day in a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday,  Oct. 27. Country Day beat Ann Arbor Greenhills 2-0 in its second-round game.

   Senior Riley Johnson opened the scoring for St. Catherine. Junior Peyton Bennetts scored the next two goals to increase the lead to 3-0 at halftime.

   Farmington scored in the fourth-quarter to close the game to 3-1. Senior Lauren Arena found the net for St. Catherine to make the final 4-1. Senior Isabella Lardin earned the win in goal.
