   Wixom St. Catherine of Siena downed Farmington United 5-3 to finish its Michigan High School Field Hockey Association regular season on Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Hawk Center in Farmington Hills.

   St. Catherine finished the season 8-4-1.

   Sophomore Hannah Lisch, junior Kiersten Hein, and senior Allie

 Hubenschmidt scored in the first half as the Stars took a 3-0 lead.

   Senior Peyton Bennetts scored in the second half.

   Farmington used late goals to close the game to 4-3. Hein scored her second goal with 2:55 left in the game to conclude the scoring.

   St. Catherine faces Catholic High School League rival Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart in its MHSFHA playoff opener on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at St. Catherine.
