Junior Hannah Rashty’s goal with 2:35 left in the game lifted West Bloomfield to a 3-2 victory over Michigan High School Field Hockey Association Division 3 foe Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart on Monday, Sept. 21, at West Bloomfield.
The game was tied 2-2 at halftime. West Bloomfield (2-1-1) junior
Maddie Sandberg and Sacred Heart (2-1-0) senior Katerina Jonna both scored two goals in the first half.
Junior Kennedy Ruiz earned the victory in goal for the Lakers.
West Bloomfield travels to Bloomfield Hills (1-1-1) on Friday, Oct. 2.
